This year marks a significant milestone for Airthrie Homes as we celebrate 30 years of providing high-quality care, supported living, and a range of other valuable services.
Over the years, we have supported many residents, built strong friendships, and worked hard to create a place that feels like home. To celebrate 30 years of Airthrie, we have been planning an Open Day, which will take place on Wednesday 16th September at 3:00pm. We will be welcoming friends, family, and members of the local community to join us in celebrating this special day.
During the Open Day, visitors will have the opportunity to meet our team and residents to gain an understanding of what life is like at Airthrie and learn more about the care we provide. They will also have the chance to explore our different facilities and services, including the minibus, supported living, health and wellness, and domiciliary care.
There will be plenty of entertainment, including a live band, as well as food and drinks. Activities and displays of work completed by our service users will also be on display, and service users will have the opportunity to sell items from stalls. Any money raised from these stalls will go towards developing the garden, sensory room, and games room.
As part of the celebrations, our residents will also receive awards to recognise individuals who have made progress on their personal journey, encouraged their peers, and more. Staff will receive awards across different categories to showcase their hard work and acknowledge those who make a difference at Airthrie. These awards highlight the importance of everyone at Airthrie.
This day will be a chance to celebrate Airthrie’s journey, reflect on how far we have come, and thank everyone who has supported us over the years.
